We would like to remind you that the new eBay Dispute Resolution process to resolve disputes has already come into effect on the eBay UK site. All cross-border sellers who are selling on the eBay UK site will be subject to the new Resolution process when handling transaction disputes. More information can be found at http://pages.ebay.com.sg/resolution
The new eBay Resolution process for resolving Item Not Received (INR) and Item significantly Not As Described (SNAD) claims have been phased in for all buyers in the past several weeks.
Please note that for claims related to transactions on eBay UK, sellers have 10 days (compared to 7 days on the eBay US site) to appeal the claim by (1) providing proof of delivery / shipment to eBay, or (2) coming to an agreement with the buyer, or (3) refunding the buyer.
Our step-by-step tutorial on how the eBay Resolution process works for sellers can be found at http://pages.ebay.com.sg/resolution/tutorial/.
Starting now, sellers can also view and manage claims filed through the new eBay process in the updated Resolution Center available from the Account tab in My eBay. You will be able to see all claims, whether filed through the new eBay process or through PayPal’s Resolution Center.
Finally, please keep a look out for alert emails sent from eBay or PayPal. As always, your timely response to claims is important in both systems.
Regards,
The eBay Team
